Nestled at the base of the 14 Princess Luxury Apartment Building in Uptown Waterloo, Loloan Lobby Bar is inspired by 1920’s era French colonial hotel lobby bar that might be found in South-East Asia. It is a scintillating new concept for the restaurant scene in Kitchener Waterloo: an idea brought to life by the owner and chef’s own personal experiences while living, working and travelling in Indonesia. It’s a design that takes one back to days of romance and grace offering classic cocktails alongside South-East Asian
inspired cuisine. The space is organized in two distinct areas: the bar and the dining room. It floods the senses with an intricately layered design, richly detailed and exquisitely constructed. The moment you step through the classic revolving door you feel like you’ve been transported to a different time and place; it’s reminiscent of something familiar but also elusive enough to spur the imagination.
